Timothy Pippett
Mr. Timothy Pippett is the Managing Director and Principal in Alpha GeoScience. His is backed up by a number of geophysicists, technical and support staff to offer the most suitable service to the client.

Qualifications
Bachelor of Applied Science, 1974, Geology and Geophysics, University of Canberra
Diploma in Business Management, 1997, Monash University
Registered Professional Geophysicist, 2000, in the fields of geophysics and environmental geoscience

Experience Summary
Mr. Pippett has a diverse background in geophysics in such areas as consulting, contracting, instrument sales, instrument manufacturer, covering the fields of minerals, petroleum, airborne, marine, environmental and engineering geophysics. He has extensive experience in airborne geophysics, in the project management and quality control of magnetics and radiometrics data, and the management of an airborne geophysical division.

Mr. Pippett has been Project Manager on a large number of geophysical Surveys in Australia, USA and SE Asia for minerals, coal, UXO ordnance and environmental targets. He has also been the instigator and Project Manager of a number of geophysical instrument manufacturing projects including the development of a portable magnetic susceptibility meter and ground surveying system (magnetometer).

Experience Summary
Jamie’s areas of special expertise include the use of Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) for Environmental, Structural, Geotechnical and Archaeological investigations, Total Field Magnetic techniques for UXO, Archaeological, Mineral and Geological investigations, Seismic Techniques for Geological, Geotechnical and Service Location Surveys, Electrical Techniques including Time and Frequency Domain Electromagnetic surveys and Resistivity profiling and soundings for Environmental, Geotechnical, Geological and Mineral Exploration Surveys.

Jamie Speer has responsibility for individual projects utilizing geophysical investigative methods. He has managed a number of geophysical and non-destructive investigations, principally using ground penetrating radar, seismic, magnetic and electromagnetic methods.  His responsibilities include project management, project quoting, data collection, data processing and interpretation, preparation of drawings and report preparation. Jamie has managed investigations of urban road networks, rail track, services location, concrete and masonry structures, UXO investigations, mineral exploration, geological and geotechnical investigations within Australia, Kuwait, USA and India.


Grant Rosewarne
General Manager

Qualifications
BAppSc., (Chemistry), 1981, South Australian Institute of Technology, SA.
MBA, Australian Graduate School of Management, University of NSW

Experience Summary
Mr. Grant Rosewarne comes from a strong background in Marketing, Sales and Management having worked extensively in Europe and Australia leading consumer orientated businesses and growing brands.  Other skills and experience include project management and development and training of staff.


Jeremy Hill
Geophysicist

Experience Summary
Mr. Hill has experience in the mineral exploration industry.  He has worked in northwest Queensland and Flinders Ranges, South Australia.  He is a relative newcomer to the geophysics world. However, his geological foundation coupled with his expanding experience and knowledge of geophysical techniques offers valuable insight both in the field and with data interpretation.

Experience Summary
George has been working at Alpha Geoscience since January 2007 and over this time he has been exposed to a diverse range of geophysical investigations. George has particular experience in Magnetics and small-scale Time-Domain Electromagnetic (TEM) and Electromagnetic Induction (EMI) methods.  He also has a strong grasp on the processing of small-scale TEM, EMI, Magnetic and GPR data.

George has been a senior field geophysicist in a number of environmental, archaeological and UXO investigations and has also helped to train new Junior Geophysicists who recently joined Alpha's expanding pool of technical staff.


Michael Fitzgerald
Junior Geophysicist

Qualifications
BSc., (near completion),  - Macquarie University, NSW.

Experience Summary
Michael has experience in the use of multiple instruments for seismic refraction, resistivity and  magnetics.  He is knowledgeable in the use of many instruments including DualEM4, TerraTEM, EM61, LUND, ABEM Terrameter SAS 4000, Geometrics G-858 Magmapper Caesium Vapour Portable Magnetometer, Ground Penetrating Systems and Ground Penetrating Radar.


James Watton
Junior Geophysicist

Qualifications
BSc., (near completion),  - Macquarie University, NSW.

OHS Construction Induction Training Certificate, 2008

Experience Summary
James has experience in rock identification, recording raw data of rock types, strike and dip of rock units, recording fossil localities and night time activities such as transforming raw data into mappable units and formations, drawing traverse lines and constructing geological profiles.  James has learnt methods and their applications in environmental, groundwater and exploration applications including TEM, FEM, Seismic, Resistivity, Magnetic and GPR.


Carol Cadd
Administrative Assistant

A graduate in Commerce, Carol has been with Alpha since October 2003.  Carol provides secretarial and administrative support to ensure smooth running of the office.
