terraTX-50 High Power Transmitter

For high-power applications, an external transmitter, the terraTX-50, is available.  The terraTX-50 delivers up to 50 amps at 100V and can be synchronised by either reference cable or GPS timing.  It is controlled by the terraTEM.

TRC-1 & 3 Time Domain Remote Receivers

  • The single or three component TRC-3 is a result of 18 years of experience in building multi-turn TEM receiver coils
  • A large active area reduces the amplification required to make an acceptable effective area

VecTEM-V Time Domain Downhole Receiver

The VecTEM-V probe compliments the range of terraTEM instrumentation to provide downhole information with the terraTEM transmitter and acquisition system.

  • The three (3) component Downhole Receiver allows for improved ability to detect anomalies and position any previously observed targets
  • Designed for easy operation with the terraTEM recording unit
  • Orientation of the probe is measured to collect true X-Y-Z data
  • Also measures the dip angle of the borehole at any depth
  • Rugged construction 
  • Uses 4 conductor cable with standard fittings (allowing attachment to most downhole logging winches)
