Alpha Geoscience, supplier of the terraTEM transient EM system is proud to announce the unit has now been sold into a total of 25 countries.

Leading the sales is China, followed by Tanzania, Mexico, Australia, and Libya. terraTEMs can now be found in every continent except Antarctica.

terraTEM provides an attractive option for geotechnical and environmental surveys as well as conventional surveys for minerals and groundwater. The unit makes the study of Transient Electromagnetic (TEM) more accessible to students and is ideal for teaching and research.

terraTEM provides a Time Domain EM (TDEM) transmitter and receiver in one unit with high speed sampling, single or three channel (optional) receivers and a 10 amp transmitter.

The unit operates on a Pentium class processor and is controlled through an LCD ‘touch screen’ with a smart menu system and capability to display the data to conductivity depth-sections in the field.
