| terraTEM Pulse Width, Frequency, Stacking and Integration Time |

In designing a terraTEM survey many factors require consideration. For system design loops size and loop configuration are important, however the terraTEM also offers internally set options that can be varied according to survey requirements. These options include pulse width (on-time), windows (gates), stacking, gain, sampling delay and filtering options. Selection of pulse width will determine the range of gates available, and the wider the pulse the greater the penetration depth. The greater the stacking the less the influence of random noise on the data (spherics, environmental, system). A combination of pulse width and stacking will control the time for each reading (integration time).
