A large crowd gathered around the Alpha Geoscience on the last day of the ASEG-PESA International Geophysical Conference and Exhibition in the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour, this week. The assembled crowd held their breath as Alpha managing director Tim Pippett pulled out the winner of the Tom Tom GPS competition draw...
And the winner was Mr Martin Negonga from the geological survey department of the Ministry of Mines and Energy in Namibia. According to the Tom Tom GPS website, Mr Negonga should be able to download maps of Africa to enable him to use the maps back home.
Alpha also a Winner Alpha Geoscience was also awarded with a prize on the final day of the conference for Best Exhibit. Tim Pippett accepted the reward on behalf of the Alpha team who had worked hard to present a professional yet inviting stand for delegates. See below for stand photos
